Much has been said, verbally and in writing about how to be an effective leader. The approach presented here focuses on things that leaders must do and is based on the presenter’s 30+ years in a wide variety of leadership roles. Among the topics covered include the importance of targeted team selection, basic teambuilding skills, effective ways for setting performance goals and objectives, evaluating and coaching skills and finally, simple ways to develop individual performers.

Objectives:
As a result of attending this session, participants will be able to:

During the presentation, lecture, humor and real life examples will be interspersed with group activity. PowerPoint slides are available to highlight key points and help maintain focus.
