Just as the quality of your staff will determine the quality of your product and/or service, so the quality of your supervisors controls the ultimate quality of your staff. The guiding premise of this presentation is that people generally do not perform poorly on purpose. In fact, most people want to excel and can if given the proper leadership support. The process begins when the supervisor realizes that how well his/her staff performs determines perception of how well he/she is performing. This presentation covers techniques for providing resources, training and coaching support. Also covered is the importance of linking consequences to performance and possibly most importantly, how to develop a strong and contributing team.
