After the interview do you feel like you really did not find out enough about the person you may be hiring?  Are you tired of hiring and training over and over?  The key to selection success is not just the amount of time taken to interview, but the techniques used in the discovery process.  Applicants are programmed to tell us what we want to hear.  However, by utilizing behavioral interviewing techniques you can reduce the time, money and team dissatisfaction associated with hiring the wrong person for the job.
 
In this session you will learn interviewing and hiring best practices for eliminating common hiring mistakes.  You can develop skills required to assist in hiring the right person for the job the first time.

Objectives:
At the completion of this session, the attendees will be able to:
  1. Develop and demonstrate effective interviewing techniques
  2. Apply behavioral, motivational and situational interviewing skills to determine if a candidate is a good fit for the position
  3. Identify and demonstrate how to conduct a powerful interview by recognizing your interviewing style, preferences and strengths

This session will utilize lecture, case study, examples, question/answer and role play.
